Barack Chalk

Today, my friends, was a monumental day.
Barack Obama, leader of the free world, President of the USA, son of a native Kansan and meeter of the KU basketball team came to speak to us.
And it was just so cool.
I'm not going to gush about how amazing his speech was, because it was fairly cookie-cutter. Well written, of course, and it garnered a lot of applause from the young, mostly liberal crowd. It was general stuff about middle class economics and affordable education and childcare and bettering America.
You can imagine, especially if you watched the SOTU.
BUT it was the President of the United States speaking in that incredibly charming, charismatic way of his, no less. How can you not appreciate how awesome that is?
History, baby.

Waiting.

More waiting. Bright lights. 6,000 people.

Bored selfies.

Felix amidst the masses.

Heads and the big man himself.
