This is how the Hartland Clan rings in the New Year.
Somehow I was convinced to drive to the Lower Salt River with my mum, who is shown below complete with waders, to meet up with Rick and Rob who were already there.
And it was definitely a beautiful part of Arizona, which is always nice to see.
But I can only sit on a rock for so long before my butt gets cold and tired of it, ya know?
So it was a nice excursion and a cool picture opportunity.
